Here goes nothing…

For years I have enjoyed reading blogs.  The witty insights and thoughtful commentary has engaged my interest as I navigate my way through life.  I read blogs on nonprofit management, health, leadership, politics, technology, weight-loss and religion… quite a plethora of topics and authors.  Some are written by very eloquent writers, some make me laugh, and others help me grow professionally.

I, however, never dared to turn my insights and thoughts into a blog for the world to see… or, is it time?

Here goes nothing… the first post.  As I continue, I hope to feature anecdotal stories that provide insight into the life of a young professional, chugging away leading a nonprofit organization.  I hope to encourage and inspire others as they make the best of out what comes their way through life.  I hope that through sharing my experiences, others will benefit, as I have from many others through the years.

I can not promise perfect grammar, nor can I promise to follow the text book examples of nonprofit management throughout the course of this blog.  I do, however, look forward to sharing the ups and downs of an exciting journey.
